Hey @torrip – we hear ya! We’re currently working on a project about this – it would be great if you would like to get involved: https://shift.ms/sleeplessness-project

Hi I suffered years of insomnia and didn’t matter what I did or tried !! I have to take sleeping tablets now otherwise I would never sleep!! I just got to the point and after so long I had too and it’s made. Massive difference but the problem now is I have to increase them every 6-8 months because my body is getting used to them!! It’s a horrible side effect and can make you feel so much worse but I would talk to a doc you trust and and see what they suggest!! 😊

@torrip FWIW – I use Laser Foam earplugs – cheap and some of the best – rolled tightly and fitted fully in as well as a good light blocking eye mask.

I am sure I look like a weirdo but it makes for a very good addition to a sensible ‘sleep hygiene’ regime and I really don’t care. My wife – no MS – does the same now. She muttered something about me snoring but I dismissed that a vicious and unfounded rumour.

No coffee/tea after 1400h is also a rule of thumb.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but medical marijuana. The indica strain with CBD taken right before bed has helped tremendously.
