Contractor vs Staff

The company I am spending my time at have got theirselves into a situation where a Staff Guy is becoming available so as a contractor it is me who gets the Spanish archer (elbow). Hard enough getting a gig nowadays (software development) without the cloud of PPMS hanging over me! Never mind it gives me time to concentrate on my health.

@watsoncraig I know how you feel.... been there and seen that. In house tend to take priority, but shouldn't you have been asked to apply for the role or any one else come to think of it. But all they need to do is find one thing that they have different to you and they'll take precedence. Wish you luck.

@highlander . I was only set on for a short-term contract to help out with a more aged system, so wasn't going to spend long here but thought it would be longer. Heyho the life of a contractor
