Continuing my journey...

I got diagnosed with RRMS in 2001. Fortunately my relationship with the disease has been manageable. I’ve taken Copaxone for a few years and then Aubagio for some time too. I work full time and have a ten year old daughter. Back in March I had a bad fall and my world turned upside down. I was out of work for about 4 months, and returned end of July. After many tests and multiple MRIs I have been diagnosed with PPMS. About two weeks ago I stopped taking the Aubagio, washed my system and am going to start Ocrevus in a few weeks. I am both excited about the new medicine and also nervous about it.

Good luck! I'm transitioning from RRMS to SPMS so am watching how people do on what is supposed to be a gamechanger. I especially don't want to slip from where I am now. I can walk (sometimes with a stick) and work and think...just want to hold on to that.

Good luck to you on your journey. Keeping a positive attitude has helped me on my adventure with MS and hope that it continues.
