Confirmed diagnosis

Hi guys, I posted a while ago regarding investigations but 3 weeks ago I had my results and received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, albeit with only one clinical possible, not definite, episode of symptoms. I have around 5 lesions in my brain that apparently all look quite old, and all are in non-sensitive areas of my brain (hence why I have no symptoms!) Everything is looking really positive and I've decided to try Rebif and see if it helps. I have been extremely lucky and I hope my future is still as bright as I want it to be!!

My ms nurse described it in a really nice way for me; "Think of it like diabetes. You will always have it, and it will never go away, but take your medications, look after yourself and you will be absolutely fine."

@scarletclarke , I'm sorry that you got this diagnosis, but, "forearmed is forewarned". You now know what you're dealing with. Your future is still in your hands. This is just one of the curve balls that life can throw at us. Take care, live healthily, eat healthily and avoid stress.
