Clandrabine immunotherapy

I have been asked by a neurologist to consider starting this treatment. I was diagnosed with ppms in January 2018 by ( another) neurologist who says the condition is “quite indolent “ and thinks I should steer clear of such treatment. Has anyone any thoughts/ advice/ experience to share? I would be grateful

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I started Mavenclad/cladrabine last summer for MS, and I'm also on Avonex injections once a week. I visited my neurologist on Thursday and he's extremely confident that the combination therapy is working really really well. He said the Mavenclad is probably doing all the work, but having the Avonex as well is making for a great combo. He also said there's "panels" that are talking about how highly effective combo therapy (cladribine WITH avonex) is for MS. I hope that helps! :)

@penmumble Thank you for your reply. Glad to hear you are having such positive news about cladribine with avonex. I guess each case is individual and that’s why it is hard to make decisions!😀
