Burning/itching

I appreciate Iv touched on this before but is there anything… anything at all I can take to help with burning sensations on hands? Apart from it being slightly painful and annoying it just reminds me I have ms all the time and gives me bad anxiety. I know creams don’t work completely as it’s neorological but has anyone found anything that relieves it even if just for a few minutes! Thanks

I have had a similar problem, I think it may be the heat aggravating things but I’m wondering if a hydrocortisone type cream might help, haven’t tried yet 🙃
I’m sure someone who’s experienced this for longer may have an answer..
Otherwise you could try dropping something heavy on your foot …..distraction technique I’ve just done and not recommended. 😅😫

@blagaman182 , call your MS Nurse about this. You need either Gabapentin or Pregabalin to dampen this pain down.

Thanks stumbler. I have thought about those medications I’m not sure if it’s something you can take as prn or have to be constantly on though. 90% of the time the pain isn’t that bad.

@blagaman182
Pregabilin work’s fairly well for me.
Hope you get it sorted out soon.

I’m already on gabapentin so may enquire about Pregabalin instead. 🙃
