Botox

Anyone having Botox jabs for spasticity?
I’ve tried the following Baclofen, Gabapentin and Pregabalin with hideous side effects. Now Botox has been suggested for my left leg. I’m hoping to see De Ling in Cambridge. Any experience out there?
Thank you people.

@terrier58 , put “Botox spasticity” into the Forum Search (magnifying glass, top left). This will locate the previous posts on this issue.

@stumbler. Thank you. I always look there first. Then just ask. A sort of belt and braces 😉

@terrier58 , you could ask your MS Nurse and see if they have any knowledge of this procedure from their “clients”.

@stumbler my MS nurse has no experience of Botox. She has few MS patients and I’m her first with PPMS. My Doctor in “a small country practice” her words not mine, has a no MS patients except for me. My Neuro is here one day every fortnight. The community nurse and physio along with my GP have decided to to refer me directly to the Practitioner.
As a nutritionist my research is more medical. A forum such as this may be invaluable as we listen to and learn from those with experience. Thanks for your time.
