'Body hiccups'

Hi lads and ladies, I tried to post an intro-post but I think I accidentally deleted that (lol!) so I'll say a quick hello first. My name's Sophie, 29, a writer in London - NOT diagnosed with MS yet but honestly, all my symptoms are pointing to it and I'm stuck in limbo waiting for my first-ever neuro appointment still. It could take months still, and I must say it's not been fun watching Boris swan about as our new PM when the Tories have battered the NHS so badly... Anyway, to the point - (and I apologise for jumping in even without a diagnosis!) - I'm experiencing something right now I can only describe as 'body hiccups' - little jumps in my body, I guess mini-spasms. Sometimes you can see me physically twitch but most of the time it seems to just be internal. The one thing I just can't successfully google-diagnose is this thing when I move and I quiver, or like an electric bolt has shot through me. It just makes me very jolty, like I can't operate in a smooth swan-like motion anymore (not that I ever did :D). I'd say this particular symptom has been bothering me for a few weeks - and leaves me achey and constantly on edge I'm going to 'hiccup' again. That's the best way to describe it, anyway. Say hi if this sounds familiar! It's the symptom that makes me the most curious. ((PS: Other classic MS symptoms are perpetual pins n' needles in my foot (just the one!), a nasty on/off hand tremor that won't quit, and a hella lotta back pain. Oh also all of the anxiety, naturally! )) Thank you & hello, You're such a nice cheery forum! Soph

Yep, get body hiccups (love the description), they are worse at night, particularly in bed x
