Blenders – reduced grip strength

Morning!

Seeking some collective wisdom. I generally feel heaps better when I have a smoothie for breakfast but I’m really struggling with reduced grip strength and the frustration and disappointment using the blender is wiping out the feel good from the smoothie.

Can anyone recommend a jug blender that’s okay for reduced grip strength. Thanks everyone

Rach

What kind of blender do you use? I love my vitamix, which has a ‘press down’ mechanism – you press the jug onto the rotor. I can see, though, that if this is the kind of blender you have, the pressing down could be tricky. I bought mine to replace a standard blender, which requires no pressure because all you do is pour the liquid into a (handled) jug, then switch the machine on. To my knowledge, the majority of blenders are of this kind. xx

I’ve got one that’s like a nutribullet and I struggle with twisting the lid on and off and twisting it on to the base
