Bladder pain

Hi all! So I really don’t like to blame everything on my ms. But I have, for the past two weeks, had this pain sharp in my low low abdomen. Urologist says it’s my bladder area but urine does not show infection. It doesn’t even feel like a normal uti I’ve had in the past. I don’t have the urgency but just this pain, oh and severe constipation as well. I’ve had to rely on laxative to get things moving. I’m on antibiotic just in case there is some infection. So this bladder thing, I do not know what to make of it and I sure hope it is temporary. Could it be MS related? I’ve been reading about it just wanted to get some additional input

@angieh , unless they did a full culture on your urine, they're probably relying on the standard "dip test" to check for UTIs. I'm sure some things aren't picked up be that test. Bladder and bowel incontinence are frustrating symptoms of MS. And, it seems that once you know this, you're always aware of it and probably make the problem worse. The joys of being human! There's a link here about these embarrassing problems:- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/incontinence As far as constipation is concerned, you might want to consider a "squatting toilet stool". It can be a great help.
