Bit frustrated

I was diagnosed with RRMS last Nov so early days still at mo. Touch wood I haven't had any major symptoms. Main prob at mo is my bladder I am struggling to empty it properly, as a result going around 12-14 times a day, feel bit like a child when we go out. My neurologist referred me to a continence nurse, she said my pelvic floor good, and I drink all right drinks, but not emptying my bladder properly, she mentioned intermittent self catheterisation!! (ISC) Which was bit daunting, gave me some info, but just said need to return in few weeks for repeat scan. Appointment should be next week but she asked me to reschedule, she left a message on my phone to say earliest appt is July! But she can visit me at home otherwise to teach me!! When I rang up sounds like she means ISC!! Sounds like she has decided! Not overly keen to do it, but would like to know why my bladder doesn't empty properly. Also I don't have a great relationship with my MS nurse, I did register for a buddy on here twice but no reply 😟

My bladder was classed as overactive im due back next month with my liquid and and fluid intake. Meanwhile im trying to train it by going every 2-3 hours even if i feel i need it i know my bladders not 'full' . It may take a while but i was going every hour i think out of habit and for the sake of it.

@southernsoftie Bladder problems? Welcome to my nightmare... ;-) The problem is that you live across the Atlantic Ocean & I can't afford long-distance charges; and if my loving wife sees non-stop phone calls to another woman, I might get into a wee bit of trouble. LOL Yet considering my sleep habits are all over the place, if you want an internet friend to chat with, send me a PM and I'll forward you my email address. Gord
