I don’t have one, but met with a doctor who implants them and she said it works really well, but we decided I didn’t need one yet. You can try typing baclofen pump into the search bar on this website to see previous posts about them.

I worked with a lady in her early 50’s who had one and said it is fantastic!!

@mikey_humphries

I was not aware such a thing even existed.

I take 2 Baclofen tablets at night to relax my body, which they do but, I’ve been finding my mind is still very active, so fiind it difficult to sleep properly.

Physicaly speaking though Baclofen is very effective, need to find out more about this pump, maybe have a chat with my MS Nurse about it.

The Baclofen Pump delivers this drug specifically where it’s needed. i.e. the spinal fluid. This allows lower doses to be used, avoiding some of the side-effects.

The dosage can be altered remotely, if need be.

A friend of mine in USA had a pump many years ago and it made her worse. I’ve tried Baclofen tablets but had to stop after 3 days as the side effects were horrible.
Everybody is different so what suits one doesn’t suit another.
Good luck with the choice you make.
