Awaiting formal diagnosis

Hello, I was wondering how long it takes normally to see the MS consultant? I have seen the neurologist who has told me all my results are consistent with MS and that I meet the criteria for MS but he has referred me to an MS consultant at the QE in Birmingham. I was just wondering how long it takes for the appointment? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

In the US we don’t have MS consults.... my neurologist was the one to diagnose me. Don’t mean to pull from your question but what exactly does an MS consultant do for you guys in the UK??

@catalin_leeds I think she is referring to a Neurologist who specialises in MS as well as other neurological conditions... I had my first relapse two years ago and the amount of info was difficult to compute
