attacks how does one know them?

Hi all,
I have been diagnosed with MS in January and learning to cope with it. always get some tired spells in my right leg and arm. when would one say that this is an attack? MS is so unpredictable that i am finding it hard to understand my body.

I think if the symptoms are quite bad and last for more than 48 hours then you could ‘count’ it as a relapse

Yeah I would agree. I get tired and weak from time to time but I don’t see that as a relapse. I’m currently on the 3rd day of experiencing a loss of sensation on my right side. If it lasts past the weekend I will think it’s the start of a relapse/attack.

Also forgot to add, I believe if you have some sort of infection it can flare up symptoms to seem like a relapse but may not be

same thing here – tiredness and ‘heavy legs’ don’t make a relapse – i speak as someone who’s on his 3rd day off work in the last fortnight and preparing for his first round of steroids on Monday.
not looking forward to it but being able to walk would be nice. yuck.
