A new job!

I've just been offered a dream job - fab pay, great opportunity - the job I've been hoping for for ages! But now stuck - on the forms they sent me they have asked 'disabled?' with options yes/no, I knew that I'd need to be honest and tick yes, but there was no area to elaborate and I'm worried what may come of it. My MS isn't visable on the whole so they're none the wiser at the moment. Shall I call the HR rep and discuss or just wait til I start? Any thoughts welcome!

Perhaps talk to HR when you start just so they get an understanding of your needs: extra hospital appointments or reacting badly to something can't catch them off guard if they know. Also, something as simple as needing to go to the loo a lot if you have bladder issues - it's better they know than think you have a coke habit :). Chances are, they'll ask anyway because you declared your disability on the form.

Hi @hkittypink I'm not a legal expert - there are some on here who might chip in - but if it was me I would go for saying nothing at this point. If the form asked "Do you have MS" then I don't see that you could answer in any way but with a "yes", but it asks if you're disabled, and you're not.
