Is is to much to risk not starting Treatment.

i have decided not to take treatment for my RRMS as i dont feel any symptoms and i'm worried if i start treatment it will make me feel like i'm ill, i just want to carry on living my life feeling well and healthy, has anyone refused the treatment?as long as i feel well i see little point? silly?

Hi! I was much the same as my ms wasn't causing me too much trouble in the past. The docs offered me many diff treatments and I refused. However my attacks gotmore frequent and I'm now scared of my ms progressing. So I'm on copaxone now which is one injection every day. I lead a very normal life indeed and it doesn't stop me doing anything (I did another skydive yesterday!!) But I would say only go on treatment when u feel ready... You will just resent it if u don't feel u need it.

Thanks, Well done on the SKYDIVE!! have you attacks effected you in terms of mobility? all i have is a numb feeling in my face - it comes and go's, I'M SO SCARED it will become more than that one day.. i'm finding this whole thing a little strange almost like it is happening to someone else. do you mind if i ask you what effect ms has on you? i take it you are fully abled body if you did a skydive?.. i wish you all the best and thanks for your comment. btw - how long did you leave it till treatment, and hows copaxone for you? thanks Rxx
