DIET CHANGES?!!
My mother has read a lot about diet changes and MS. So I have reduced saturated fat and trans fat a lot, but I don't know if it's really helping. Has anyone found diet changes to be helpful??

I've started to make sure I have some protein at each meal. I've been told that it could help keep my energy levels sustained during the day, as my diet was mainly vegetables and carbs (I'm a vegetarian). Other than that, I just try to eat freshly prepared, home-made stuff as much as possible and keep to a balanced diet with lots of water. I've also started to grow my own veggies so hopefully the nutritional content will be at its optimum!
Given up dairy products. Think that has helped loads and also tried to cut out red meats. I also have found that giving up beans, pulses and peas has helped me loads. Don't know if that's because I'm weird but if I stopped that years ago my MS symptoms may have been less severe.
