As it's a cheap, readily available substance, it's not going to be clinically tested until it's 'financially viable'.

Interesting! Do you have access to the full article, by any chance? The Uni I work at is far too naff for such, but I'd be interested to read if it were available anywhere...

I don't, sorry. I only found that article after talking to a researcher from Barts who pointed me in the direction of the pubmed website to show research was taking place, so there appears to be a bit of hope!
