Breastfeeding helps with MS?

I'm breastfeeding my new baby (she's 9 days old ♥) and I heard that breastfeeding is good for women with MS - is this actually true or just anecdotal? I really don't want to have a relapse! Also (on another note) 17 hrs of labour with just gas and air, I pushed out the baby myself :D

OK, I admit this is going to sound totally crass and selfish and I apologize in advance if it offends anyone Given that the ratio of men to women with MS is about 3:1...would an MS support group be a good place to meet women?

Fiction for US...

MS! WOW - In 1986 they knew very little about MS. Today is like a miracle of knowledge and often I think how fortunate it was that my primary insisted that I get into therapy for my mental health and my physical therapy for my body.
