Does anyone have family with other autoimmune illnesses?

As of now I have an aunt with lupus and 2 cousins with celiacs disease. I am the only one with M.S. I am curious if anyone else has similar illnesses in their family.

If you have MS, are you at greater risk of: a) contracting a virus b) have a relapse because of exposure to a virus c) worse systems because of a virus bluntly I'm talking about possible exposure to herpes

Waiting for diagnosis.

Hiya. I'm waiting for an appointment with my neurologist and the waiting is making me nuts. Had an MRI because of worsening balance problems and the MRI found bright spots. Neurologist said it could be MS and ordered more tests. The autoantibody panel came back negative for other autoimmune diseases...

I was trying to find some real information about Shilajit. I wonder if people with MS can use it as a supplement. I have found very little info about this and mainly it is not recommended for autoimmune conditions like MS. That would be a shame as they are minerals that I have thought I will benefit...
