@whitneya . I can understand you wanting to get out of this particular “frying pan”. However, your managers are treading on very thin ice as they are contravening the Equality Act 2010.
You would appear to be within your rights to pursue a claim for constructive dismissal. Do you have a Union that could possibly advise and support you?
That would be a serious and stressful undertaking, so you might want to have a chat with Human Resources, to arbitrate and educate.
In the meantime, go and have a chat with your GP and explain the work situation and what it’s doing to you, He should sign you off, which would give your Managers something to think about and allow you to gather your thoughts.
Don’t resign. Your employers owe you more than that!
