I think I was on it for 7 years or so and was pulled from it as I was still accumulating lesions and by then was developing crepey skin and lumps around injection sites. I stayed on it as there, initially, weren’t many options and I wanted to retain as much mobility and cognition as possible over the years. I do question, and post here, why it is still being prescribed. There is still a small subset of people it may be the right DMT for but there are now so many options.
Keep that in mind. Hopefully Aubagio works well for you. I haven’t tried that. I moved from Copaxone to Rebif (still an injection) and now to Ocrevus (a twice yearly infusion). That is over the last 15 years. While it isn’t good to jump around between them it is important to find what works for you.
