Uber 4 MS ?

I don’t drive and uber’s are expensive as hell. I’ve been walking to work and it’s good cause that’s how i get a bit of excercise, the walk is like 30 mins and 1.70 mi long and i’m noticing that after so long my left foot(the problem foot) will start to drag and my gauge becomes more off than usual, once i get to work and sit down for like half an hour it’ll be gone by then (i always leave early enough to have time to rest by the time i get to work after my walk) so i guess me walking and being in the heat is causing these things to pop up.

@imagwms , the heat won’t be helping you at all. But, you’re wise to schedule in rest and recovery time.

Hi @imagwms, exactly the same happens to me, except in half the time! My understanding is that once the core temperature rises through exercise, the nerve wiring goes haywire. That’s because lesions make it difficult for nerves to transmit. If you slow down slightly, you might be able to walk for longer. So one you rest and your temp cools, you get back to normal. That’s my understanding, anyway!

If I know that I’ll be in the heat, I always take ice water with me to drink and/or wear one of those ice wraps around my neck. At least when the heat messes with you, you know what you’ll be getting – one of your precious issues from an attack. Because some of my previous attacks caused bad issues, I try hard to avoid the heat. But if your previous issues weren’t too horribly bad, it’s just a matter of waiting it out.
