Trial recruiting for SPMS patients

Simvastatin is one of the Statins, the cholesterol lowering drugs, that are being looked at in MS.

This is a London hospital running it at several centres around the UK.

I have no interest or concern in this, just reposting it.

SPMS only.

I’ve just enrolled on this trial in Nottingham. Schedule appears to be a bit full on for the first 6 months and then it is monitoring once every six months for 3 years.

You can drop out anytime.

My cholesterol was 6.4 after my initial blood test so hoping I get the Simvastatin!!
