Starting physio again

I did nearly a year of physio and I was so happy when my therapist said I didn’t have to go anymore (it was hard work!). But then I got pregnant and I’ve gone back to being, well, rubbish again 😛 so I have to do it all over again! At least I know what to expect (I used to hate that balance board thing where you “fall” left/right) and how good I can get 😀

i loved the balance board exercise – i’m getting hubby to make me one – i was rubbish at it but for me i know that means i really need to work that area and that exercise really made me concentrate in what i was doing with my feet, legs and obviously balance – or lack of it…glutton for punishhment!! 🙂

It’s been physio that’s kept me going for years. I have a monthly assessment, where all my muscles are tested for strength and flexion. I’ve managed (thru the physio) to retrain some of the affected muscle groups and now walk better than I did nine years ago. I sometimes think physios know more than GPs…!
