Sativex spray

Does anybody take this please, how does it make you feel, is it beneficial and may I ask how much you have to pay for it monthly, as I apparently not available on the NHS thanks

Loulou, I think you’ll find that it is available on the NHS, but like most things, they’re loathe to prescribe it.
You need to have tried all of the usual spasticity meds, e.g. Baclofen, first. 🙁

Yes, it is a similar runnaround here in Canada. One thing I will say having tried Sativex, and the more traditionally rolled form of the medicine is that the Sativex isn’t even close in comparison of benefits compared to the ‘real thing’. at least in my experience.

Drugs.com is a great resource to learn about the spray. It gives detailed information about the spray and possible side effects. Every drug affects people differently, so I would talk to your doc.
