Remittances

Hi
I still suffer RRMS
It has left me alone in peace for years long enough to make doubt I even have it
Anyway lets get to the question
RRMS
Relapse is happening because our immune attack our brain
Is remitting happening because our immune fixed what it has ruined or what exactly

Thanks just trying to understand

@nutshell88 , a relapse is when our immune system causes an inflammation on our Central Nervous System (CNS).

The remittance is when the inflammation subsides, although it may leave some damage, some scarring, or Sclerosis. The potential recovery of function, lost or affected by this scarring, is part of the remittance.

@nutshell88, that’s a good question. I suppose it’s when the body “gets a grip on things”, whether that’s with the help of Steroids or not.

If the body does not start to recover, then you’ve become Progressive! 😕

There’s a lot of reading here :-
