@liliana_rosa_hellwege

If you do not mind me asking, what type of MS do you have? And what type of drugs does your Neurologist have you on??

@liliana_rosa_hellwege , that’s one helluva question.

All forms of MS are progressive and incurable. So, MS has to be managed, either by drugs and/or lifestyle. We do need to be as fit and healthy as possible, to be able to fight this condition.

So, live healthily, eat healthily and avoid stress.

Complementary therapies can’t cure the MS, but can make you feel better.

Hello all,
I have secondary progressive MS and my
neurologist has not prescribed any drugs for me because there is nothing available for this type of MS.
I am otherwise healthy and eat well.
Thanks to everyone for your replies.
Cheers
Liliana

@liliana_rosa_hellwege , I believe you are the other side of the world, but here in the UK, there are no specific MS treatments approved for Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS).

Present Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs) will reduce the severity and frequency of relapses, which usually isn’t the issue for SPMS.

There are only medications available for symptom management.
