I suffer from foot drop and therefore walk differently, especially if I don’t have my aids on which help it. On the affected leg (right), I have what I believe to be a pressure sore on the side of my big toe which is because my foot goes in and rests on that part. It is very red and very sore. Also on this foot, my toes curl under and the same is happening there. However, the same has started to happen on my left foot but on every toe and the side of my big toe. I know I compensate so that will be why. I use double crutches, an FES machine or foot brace and a wheelchair at times. Do I need to go and see my GP about these sores? What can be done? Thanks x
