PIP and the Government

Seems there might be a lot of wheelchair orders taking place soon……unless you want to lose your benefit and your Motability car for being able to walk 20m. Unfortunately I’ve not walked for 2 years and fortunately, I already use a wheelchair. What do people think about these new government decisions?

There has been some movement to better describe how this 20 metres should be walked, but it’s still pretty subjective. 🙁

I have a Tribunal a week on Monday following two rejected claims, which I believe is normal.
Ironically, I haven’t felt as good as I do for a year or 2. I expect to be sent away with a flea in my ear, but as it will have taken almost a year to get this far, I’m buggered if I’m going to cancel.
I also fear that a cancellation might look like bottling out from a false claim, plus, in the year-ish that I’ve waited, I could have had an almighty relapse, such is the nature of MS.
