I asked for a wheelchair at the airport and got through customs super fast 😀 My husband asked for a mobility scooter for me at the supermarket too, it’s nice sitting down while shopping, heh. Got a free ticket at a concert too (for my “carer”, i.e. my friend).

Lets see, there’s the blue badge, the cheaper rail fares with the disabled persons rail card (reductions for both you and your ‘carer’), free bus pass, the disabled persons cinema card, which entitles you to a free ticket for your helper (http://www.ceacard.co.uk/) my friend just helps me by carrying my popcorn in for me, if you go on the eurostar in a wheelchair, you and your ‘helper'(friend/significant other/partner etc) get a free upgrade to buisness premiere from standard with all the perks that come with it (free drinks, food, pastry etc), cheaper theme park tickets (need to check on their website). I think thats about it from me 🙂

I’m not sure if having ms gets you a pass to skip queues, but if you check on their website, I’m sure there will be further information there to help you 🙂

Hi Smile! Both chessington & Thorpe park let you & 4 friends queue jump. All you have to do is go to the customer services desk with a copy of your DLA entitlement letter and they give you all wrist bands. You get limited on busy days as to how soon you can go back on the ride with the jump ticket, but it’s a good thing! Also you’ll get one entry ticket greatly reduced for your carer xxx

What if you don’t have a disabled card or DLA certificate with you, would a letter from teh nurse saying i am an MS patient suffice?

Cheers Ghada x

I have discovered you can now get Viagra tea bags…..
They don’t improve your sex life……..but they stop your biscuits going soft!

Superb,
Those Viagra Jokes have given me such a laugh!
Go to the check in at the theme parks with your blue pass. You won’t have to cue. But they are a long walk to the rides!!!!!!!
