@chloeautumnx , would this allow you to be a bit more specific:-

Like a dull ache in muscles and my knee is painful in the sense that it hurts when I bend it.

@chloeautumnx , not a particularly nice word, but does this sum up the problems that you are experiencing :-

http://www.mstrust.org.uk/atoz/spasticity.jsp

Rather than look for a prescription-based remedy, it is best to see if the cause can be established and rectified. This is the kind of issue that can be discussed with your MS Nurse to obtain a referral to a Neuro-physio.

Whilst you’re waiting for these arrangements to be put into place for you, you may want to consider Pilates and/or Yoga as very beneficial activities to combat spasticity and maintain suppleness. There are also some stretching exercises displayed here :- http://www.mstrust.org.uk/information/exercises/index_stretching.jsp

Yes I think that’s it. I already go to the gym 3 times a week but maybe yoga could be tried.
Thank you

@chloeautumnx , the gym’s good in moderation. And, by moderation, I mean what’s moderate for you. Overdoing it and overheating are to be avoided.

But, any gym work should involve a bit of stretching to warm up at the start and a bit of stretching to warm down at the end. So, you could fit it all in together? 😉
