OMS presentation in Plymouth

Hi there,

I am a former GP with MS and have set up a free presentation in Plymouth for people affected by MS to highlight the best evidence based lifestyle changes needed to help keep the disease at bay.

There will be a slide presentation of information about the “OVERCOMING MS PROGRAMME” and how it benefits people with MS with plenty of time for interaction, refreshments and feedback.

It is a friendly and free event and will be held at the Wolseley Trust meeting room in Plymouth once a month.

If you’re interested, please get in touch here or at [email protected] as places are limited. We hope for it to be informative and fun!

Best Wishes, Colin

Thanks brunnanburgh937, Ive had a look at the post and it is interesting, both for the Profs statement and the following conversations. The Bart’s team are rightly in favour of aggressive medical intervention as early as possible because this makes sense; the same applies to lifestyle changes. As early as possible and as comprehensive as possible. This makes particular sense when the starting point, certainly in terms of diet, stress and vitamin D levels are from a health damaging typical “Western” lifestyle.
The OMS approach is based on the best evidence available to tackle MS. Hence the presentations we are starting in Plymouth – to try to make sure everyone with MS has access to the information which will help them make the best decisions with critical lifestyle choices – as early as possible but its never too late!
