MS, sequins and comic relief

Hi all,

Shift MS’er Trishna Bharadia is one of six people who has been chosen out of thousands to take part in the first ever “The People’s Strictly” for Comic Relief on BBC1, a spin-off of the prime time show Strictly Come Dancing. She’s been chosen as a result of all the charity work she’s done helping to raise awareness about MS and support others living with the condition. She’ll be teamed with one of the professional dancers from the Strictly team and will dance in front of the judges ahead of a public vote. The winner will be announced on the night of Comic Relief, on March 13th. There will be four programmes altogether, so you’ll get a chance to get to know Trishna and the other contestants before they take to the ballroom floor!

Check out the BBC’s Press Release here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2015/peoples-strictly

You can follow her progress on Twitter and Instagram via the handle @TrishnaBharadia
