@sambillington , well, I watched it. I’m not too sure if I’m happy that having MS has inspired some artists. The film may not have been made for the benefit of MSers, but rather to raise awareness of MS.

I wonder who the target audience is. MS still seems to be a taboo subject, like death. It just doesn’t get talked about or acknowledged.

Will this film be to the general public what water is to horses? You can lead them there but you can’t make them drink……..

Hello @sambillington, thank you for sharing. I watched this very emotional film and really appreciate the effort, time and thought that has gone into it. The images certainly capture and frieze moments in time and I love that the art has arisen by way of capturing intense journeys.

I echo what @stumbler says and would ask: who is the audience? I love that the husband still sparkles with warmth and hope, but watching the film has left me feeling so sad! I mean, not that one would expect a film about MS to be happy and energetic, but I was overwhelmed by the sense of degeneration. So as posted above, as a cathartic experience for non MSers, this film is incredibly powerful. The theme of how MS affects life is spectacularly understood and portrayed. The conveyance of impact on MSers and families is so strong.

But so sad……. 🙁

Hey @vixen hey @stumbler – thanks for your thoughts guys – the ambition of the film was to try and show the many different angles MS can affect people from and also try and show different insights from those perspectives – so yes the audience was for the wider general public for raising awareness, but also in the case of John’s story it – it was the hope that this would resonate with MSers too. Really appreciate your thoughts – thanks Sam
