Mavenclad

Hi, I was diagnosed in 2008 and my neurologists want to switch my medication to better treat my symptoms. Has anyone heard anything about “Mavenclad? I am thrilled that it is an oral medicine but uneasy that it is a newer medicine and will kill my T cells and B cells. I appreciate your assistance.

Yours truly,
Amanda

Hi @amanda85 and welcome.

Mavenclad used to be called Cladribine. It’s been around for some time with the former name. There is a lot of hope for the effectiveness of this treatment.

Hi Antonette Fick, it’s funny that you should mention Gilenya because I was given a choice between Mavenclad and Gilenya. I was told that Mavenclad has a higher efficiency rate.

Hi Stumbler, thank you for the input and website. I really hope it is effective.

Yours truly,
Amanda
