@torrip Have you contacted them (you don’t say who) to ask why? I realise you don’t mean it though all CAPS can be interpreted by many as shouting so I’d take the Caps-lock key off 😉 My money is there is small print on the telly ad that flashes up for a few moments and that is their get out of jail free card to say no.

MS is chronic but so variable and differs vastly in prognosis from NIDDM (Type II diabetes) as the NIDDM can be well controlled or made to go away with a strict diet and weight control. MS, not so much sadly.

I used to sell Gliclazide (Diamicron by Servier Labs as was pre-generic) for NIDDM so was sheep-dipped in the learning around it!

In short, getting the NIDDM under control or eliminated means that insurance s likely if medical evidence is provided. I do not know of any insurer that will give life cover for pre-existing chronic conditions like MS. They are not in business to pay out so they try to limit the chances of that.

Good luck.

Dominic

You need to find term life insurance through an employer or organization of which you are a member, like a union or professional organization, that doesn’t do individual health screenings. Going through an insurance company or agent directly will require you to fill out those questionnaires. Good luck!
