injection site redness: tips & tricks

Hi everyone. I was wondering how you deal with injection site redness?

I try to massage the injection site right after for at least a minute and I apply arnica (arnigel) every day. I thought the arnica was not doing very much, until I forgot to do it for one day. The injection site of that day is still more sensitive than the ones that came after. So the arnica is definitely doing something.

I’d appreciate any other tips & tricks you might have!

Hi, when I was doing injection I used a cool pad (the ones you put in the freezer) before injecting it did help it was less sore.

Haven’t been on it for a few years now but when I was doing injections I found putting a warming pad before injecting, and then some ice or something like that after helped me some! Good tip with the arnica though, I’ll pass that along to my friend who is having the same issues
