Breathing problems

Hi everyone
I was diagnosed last May. I was having breathing problems taking involuntary deep breaths was only when lying down at first, but i’ve noticed recently it’s becoming more requently during the day. My ms nurse said it could be related to having a urine infection, has anyone experienced anything similar? Hope you are all having apain free day xx

@michelle_rix , UTIs can be the scourge of people with MS, being the cause of a flare up in symptoms.

But, could your involuntary deep breaths be caused by the “MS Hug” :-

@michelle_rix, interesting you bring this up because I have sudden deep intakes of breath and I’ve had a series of UTIs over the last 6 months. So they may well be linked. xx
