That’s by the MS Trust, talking about the relationship between the 2.

Depression is common in both MS and Bipolar disorder so, may be there is a close connection, who knows.

@mattl , I don’t see why an MSer couldn’t be Bipolar as well.

However, you might want to check out the PseudoBulbar Affect, a symptom of MS :-

yet happy,tearful.
i dont get what i going on?
what can i do to get some advice on this

@mattl , have a word with your MS Nurse. They should be able to refer you to a neuro-psychologist.

@mattl , even have a word with your GP.

You may need some medication to help you at the moment. A fair few of us are on antidepressants as a matter of course.
