confused about "relapses"

Hi all-- I have a question. Over the past week or so, I've experienced this new symptom when I bend my head forward. Not quite L'Hermittes, which I've had before, but a similar thing where the movement triggers a tightness in my ribs, sort of how I imagine the MS hug but a bit milder I believe. Now, does this count as a relapse technically? It's not constant obviously as it only happens when I bend my neck a certain way--but it's a new symptom. I'm a bit confuse about the difference in how these things are defined, and I suppose it doesn't really matter, but I'm curious. Any ideas?

Here's a reference to the definition of a relapse:- http://www.mstrust.org.uk//atoz/relapse.jsp Hope it helps

Damn, in that case I'm having a relapse. Cheers, John. It does get confusing. Telling something new from maybe a forgotten symptom. I forget I've felt something before and get shocked by a 'new' symptom at times. That's thanks to the memory problems ms causes with me. I sometimes wonder what is wrong with me when I don't feel so good, then it dawns on me...I have MS! Then the panic begins...again, hahaha.
