Travel troubles..

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've logged in as I've been travelling in Italy with my family, and am now doing a trip on my own in Ireland/Scotland. Just got to Dublin today and feeling a bit overwhelmed.. Could really use some fellow MSer support to be honest. I'm sort of just realizing how much my MS can hold me back in this kind of situation... Italy was hard. The heat was unbearable (38 degrees at some points) and I now know how much it affects me. I was lucky to be with my family who are understanding but I still wanted to feel like could keep up, which I really couldn't. Was sort of relieved to be taking the rest of this trip on my own to go at my own pace but so far, not so great. It's only the first day, I know, but I ended up having to leave the original place I was going to stay as it was not as promised on the website and frankly not worth the money, but found a little b&b above a pub in the last minute, which is alright, except it has a ton of stairs. It's only for 2 nights but I just feel like I keep getting knocked down. Basically I'm just sort of realizing how difficult my MS can make things. This is my first big trip since being diagnosed, and I really had high hopes for it. I thought I was being reasonable with my expectations but I'm now just worried I've made a mistake and was just expecting too much. Trying to stay positive that things will get better from here, but having some trouble with it right now.
@Stumbler

@melissa.g , I'm sorry that you're having to question yourself on your present adventure. Now, heat intolerance affects quite a few of us in the UK and I have a theory that it's not just the heat, but it's the type of heat. The heat in the UK always seems to come with a high humidity rating, whereas other places around the world have a "fresh heat". I could see Rome having a potential humidity problem too. Although 38° does sound ferociously hot. So, just be wary of the heat. Enjoy air-conditioning when you find it, to help you recover. Hope this helps and I hope you can enjoy the rest of your trip.

Thanks @stumbler, I think I feel a bit better about it all after some sleep, it just feels a bit overwhelming and the addition of MS of course making it that much more difficult. Trying to stay positive and make the best of my time here!
