brain fog?

Hello, i was wondering if anybody has exepeiced this / can give me any tips: I have been periodically experiencing reality as if it feels like a dream. almost as if i am zoned out. I feel very weird and as if thinking feels "heavy". Is this fatigue or brain fog? Would you consider this an attack, or is it just something experienced over top of everything? if anyone has any info on this it would be very helpful to understand what is going on.

Hi. I would say it's brain fog - for me it happens quite regularly and is more intense during a relapse (I'm having one atm) - I tend to get it in the afternoon or when I'm in an environment that's very noisy and I try and concentrate on a conversation. I try and admend my routine around it so I do less thinking heavy tasks in the afternoon and more demanding ones in the morning when I'm better. I also started meditation but I can't tell yet if that's working. The MS trust has some information https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/cognition-and-cognitive-symptoms

Hi there, yes, I think it's what is known in the trade as Cog Fog. My tips: make sure you have established routines. For example, before I leave for work I have everything lined up in front of the door the night before. This includes the clothes I will wear. Something that has really helped me focus and sharpen up, is to play a few games of Word Worm (or similar) on my iPad. It gives you a narrow operational field but makes you think ahead because it involves spelling. Lists are also good too. I avoid watching any TV or DVDs with complicated plots and twists, same with reading. The fog will pass, but you have to entertain it appropriately whilst it is with you! Good luck!
