Tegretol.......

Heya. Fit like folks? I don't have a fear of trying new pills, don't bother me too much but..... Tegretol L.P 200mg prolonged release? Anyone on these? I have to start on 2 a day. I usually bin the patient info leaflet for fear of me thinking I've got one of the terrible side effects, even if I havnt. But I read it today?! Dunno why but I did. Now- I'm on 32 tabs a day and none of them trouble me, not even the extavia/interferon but this one looks kinda 'hard-core' (side effects). Hopefully some of you guys are on these with success? Also noticed they are used to treat bipolar. Cheers. Lisa xxx

@Cherish , you can have a read about what the NHS says about this one:- http://www.nhs.uk/Medicine-Guides/Pages/MedicineOverview.aspx?condition=Neuropathic%20pain&medicine=Carbamazepine&preparation=Carbamazepine%20100mg%20tablets Patient Info Leaflets have to specify absolutely everything that may conceivably happen when taking the tablets, to avoid getting their @rse sued off. That's why headache tablets specify a side-effect that they may cause ......Headache! WTF!
