Bladder Infection symptoms

Hi You have all been so helpful with my previous posts I thought I would ask for your thoughts again. Yesterday my Dr confirmed I had bladder infection and said it would explain why I have felt so fatigued. Would it also be why I have felt slightly foggy in terms of thinking/remembering, a little more emotional/short tempered and the Nystagmus in my left eye a little more active? A different issue but for a few weeks I haven't been able to hear as well out of my right ear, 2 dr's have checked it and it is not blocked with wax but there is a little fluid in it. If I hold my noise and breath against it I can unblock but this only lasts for a min and then goes back again. Why is it so hard to know what is and isn't MS. I have also spent the last few days worrying about 'what ifs' which I know I shouldn't do. Any thoughts ? Trace

I use to have bladder infections all the time. I would feel tired and unfocused since I take a Vitamin C at night I don't have that problem very often. The National MS forum interviewed a urologist and he said taking a 1000 mg Vit C right before you go to bed prevents bladder infections. The Vit C sits in your bladder all night burning up the germs. It worked for me but I take a 500 mg Vit C the 1000 was to strong. Potter

@tantar , any infection, especially a UTI, can make our MS symptoms get worse, but only for the duration of the infection. Things should revert back to where they were when the infection is cleared. The problem to our MS with infections is the reason why it is recommended that we have the annual flu jab. I can't help with the hearing problem, but there are some details of MS-related hearing problems here :- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/hearing-problems
