benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) & Epley manoeuvre

I'm suffering with a vertigo/dizziness at the moment and it's getting me down. I get it often and it'd be nice to try and get rid. I've been reading that the Epley repositioning manoeuvre can get rid of symptoms in about 90-95% of people with BPPV (the GP agrees i have classic symptoms). Has anybody tried this with success? I'm going to speak with my MS nurse too as it could just be due to a lesion from the MS.

A lady I met in hospital who was in the same ward as me had very bad vertigo and she was telling me about this that she'd had done! .... It did help her but wasn't long lasting so she needed repeat treatments but she did say it helped! ... Good luck if you try it! xxx

I have had BPPV several times, I once was dreaming I had it and woke up with it. My family Dr diagnosed it by moving my head and seeing my eyes move back and forth without any conscious control on my part. He did the Epley manoeuvre and that resolved the BPPV immediately.
