Would you donate your brain/ spine for research?

I read something recently about someone thinking about donating her spine and brain to MS research upon her death. I would love to be able to donate my brain and spine in the hope for a cure, but the kinda freaks me out (even though I am an organ donor). Have any of you thought that far ahead?

I would donate anything if it would help in MS research after I'm gone. Plus, I'll be dead anyway...
