Travel?

Just wondering ,has anyone travel while taking meds? I am taking Teriflunomide tablets and want to do some traveling . I have double checked if I can have the meds in the country I want to go to . But I more thinking like the touristy part. Like the all the walks or hiking.

Hi @gloriaknight, Not sure if this is helpful or not, but we did a series of MS Reporters last year that was around travel. You can see them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWyDEq0NKMk

I’m on Tysabri so I don’t have to travel with pills, except for vitamin D supplements and an over the counter sleep aid I use. I do have issues with heat intolerance and fatigue. I travel a lot! Both for work and for pleasure. I pace myself and try to make it as easy as possible. I try to avoid layovers, because air travel in particular exhausts me. I feel like my legs turn to lead walking through airports. When we do outdoor stuff I try to stay cool. We just did a week at the beach where I cooled down in the ocean. We camp and hike in the mountains, where it’s much cooler than where I live. The hikes are leisurely and not very long or challenging, both because of me and my small children. I took a cruise this year to the Caribbean, where again I cooled down in the ocean. And we’re going to Disney World in January because it’s cooler at that time of year. I’ve traveled for work a couple times this year. I’m worried about a work trip coming up in August. Where I’m going is going to be very hot and the airport I’m transferring through is huge and always on the warm side. I booked my hotel room in the same hotel where the conference is held and don’t plan on going outside all week! So travel is definitely possible.
