MS and Diet

Has anyone here tried to go on a dairy-free and gluten-free diet to help improve or alleviate their MS symptoms? I hear so much about MS practically being "cured" when a person gets all dairy and gluten out of their diet. Has anyone tried it and how well did it work?
@simone2

Hi, I follow the best bet diet, no gluten,dairy,low sugar, low fat, I have been on the diet for 4 years and haven't had any relapses since,it is hard to follow but I think its worth it, I feel so much better on the diet, I don't think it is a cure for ms but it helps me, I brought the book by Judy Graham ms naturally which has great information about diet and keeping healthy.

I went on this diet for 3 weeks but it is incredibly hard and near impossible some weeks when I work away and then especially at weekends when the family were having desserts in restaurants, well except me. So after the 3 weeks I decided that cheese was the main culprit in my diet so have cut this out wherever possible. The cheese free diet is hard enough just now for me.
