spasticity

Hi I have has a severe relapse which has left me with such bad spasticity in both legs that I can not walk at all. I have no weight bearing and use my arms to pull myself around.Any suggestion? I did have steroids but no effect. I know physio would help but what exercises for hamstrings. Both my knees are bent inwards.
@Rambles

@michaelson What care have you been given? I was admitted to hospital when I had a complete loss of function and then put on IV steroids. The hospitalisation lasted nearly two months as it took that long to get function back enough to get about and cope with essential tasks. Physio and OT were absolutely essential in the process. If you are not getting care in hospital I would definitely be pushing for outpatient support from a neuro physio and also an OT. Your GP should be able to help set this and/or your MS nurse. The steroids take a while to take effect but it is best that the physio you do while they are in your system is 'targetted' suitably by a neuro physio. The physio can then keep refining your exercises as you grow in strength. All the best to you!!☺ xx

Hi @2michaelson and welcome. I echo @rambles ' comments above. You shouldn't really be at your home in your condition, unless you've been supplied with a wheelchair. Whilst you're waiting to get a Neuro-physio involved, here's a simple seated exercise which will help :- https://www.skimble.com/exercises/1051-seated-knee-raises-how-to-do-exercise
